“When I heard the invitation to small print people, in my heart I felt a desire to participate. And I thought: I’ve been doing so little for the kingdom, this is my opportunity! I’m going to offer my time! The Bibles were my companions day by day. At home, at dawn, at lunchtime at work, during the rest periods of the shifts, they were there with me!
At first I was worried about doing it right so as not to make mistakes and disturb the experience of those who were going to receive the Bible, but I realized day by day, in each verse marked and read, that God worked on me! That through the markings He reaffirmed things about me that I even already knew, but that were erased, hidden behind all the marks and sorrows that happen to us.
It was as if I was in front of a dirty mirror, and with each marking this mirror became cleaner, and I could see myself better.
But it wasn’t just that! The Lord was revealing himself in every characteristic about Him in the word! The good, eternal and merciful Father was bringing along with the verses that I was marking, memories of situations of my life where I could see the realization of everything that the word says that He is and does! It was tremendous!
I confess that in some moments I stopped to cry, to sing, to pray, to reflect!
I went in to collaborate with someone’s experience, and I was blessed with some of the most special experiences of my life.
When I delivered the last bibles, I joked saying that I would miss them around here, I am glad to know that this longing will be for a short time.
I wanted those who will receive the Bible to know that it may even contain some marking error, but it contains a lot of love and affection from us who marked. That they were in our prayers at every appointment! I wish it to be a transformative experience and full of God’s presence for them too!

“My experience at first was like Ellen’s. When I heard the invitation to small print to fill in Bibles, I also immediately felt the desire to participate. Sometimes with the same thought of being so little useful to the kingdom of God. But I didn’t imagine that the markings would be answers to prayers that I had already done and that I sought to understand. I literally had prayers in which I questioned God who I was and that this would become true in me. As much as they say and know that it is there, do not stop to really understand WHERE some statements are in the scriptures and sometimes even meditate on them as part of me and us, thinking as if it were only for our brothers of the Bible. I realized, in fact, now, that during this time I marked it was a time of peace, despite marking and thinking that I was so late, and giving fatigue and everything else but it was a time that I could perceive God treating some things and I was dealing with things day by day in a calmer way. I liked it so much that I even passed the list to a friend saying “mark your Bible with these statements” and I wrote some in the mirror so that I could remember and in the training it became even clearer how much it is essential to declare and especially to pray about it, about what is sometimes even an impediment in our lives. I loved being part of it and I would like to be able to participate in future appointments.. I imagine how transformative it will be to always remember who we are in the Lord... I just don’t know if I will make it but I know that I chose to believe in the truths that the Lord says about me and I believe that this will help so many other people to be reached because this is advice coming from the Lord. I’ve already entered at the very end. And, maybe that’s why, for me, these markings didn’t make sense, but after this training, God be praised for them. So good when someone receives a vision of God and doesn’t abandon!!!!
It is very true that it was a great challenge to overcome fatigue, sleep, sometimes delay lunch, wake up at 4:30 a.m. to take advantage of the boys sleeping and be able to advance more bible, overcome my restlessness of concluding everything soon to breathe the relief and satisfaction of completing everything, but I cannot disregard that even in this God was working on me and that above all this is the irrefutable fact that at some point, somehow, spouting the pages of the mirror of the marking or of the bible itself, God spoke to everyone!!!
I was very ministered these days, especially when the marking was shown in the movie... It seemed that the words jumped off the paper... Then everything started to make sense.
I deeply regret not being able to be there today (Satarday) to see what God is going to do.
We often expect the Lord to use a prophet, a song to speak/give us a direction, an answer..., but we forget that in our hands is the compass that reveals Christ to us and points out healing, restoration and liberation in a complete way (body, soul and spirit)!
I’m adventurous participating in this project!!! Yes!!!

“My name is Patricia Avalos, my family is made up of my husband Giovanni, Belen, Daniel and Nahara, who are a great blessing.
We have been attending Iglesia Casa de Dios Internacional for a year and as a couple we serve as leaders of the youth ministry. I am very happy because God brought us to this church with a spirit of serving others through social development projects.
About the Abundant Life workshop, it has a mainly very enriching message and the teaching material provided and the methodology are very committed to God.
The Youth Ministry served as host, my family was present at the workshop. I have participated in many workshops and seminars but this one was very exciting because it had very nice details such as writing a dedication, biblical quotes and guiding us by the hand like children to search and understand what God wants to tell us through the Bible.
The material has helped me to preach the word of God to young people. I thank God for using your lives to bless others and announce the good news. “
