You’ve got work to do!
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do...In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work… You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last...And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?...And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:20-21; John 15:16; Esther 4:14; Colossians 3:17
and I mean it! Backing you always, Abba
I can just hear our God saying to me…
As I have already told you, I have plans for you. I have an entire list of works for you to do - important tasks for you to do for others and for My kingdom. I took special care in creating you and you have all you need. I have arranged the circumstances and timing perfectly for you to accomplish everything I have destined for you to do. If you listen to what the world tells you, you will prioritize different tasks. Some will seem more important and more prestigious because money and fame are attached. I don’t work that way. There is no task more important than another. If it needs to be done, it is critical to My kingdom. Do not let the world define the worth of what you do. I have already determined your work’s worth - essential!
Your turn ... What are your work goals? List them on paper or in your mind. Have you brought them to My throne? Bring them to Me and remember the following ... “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans...Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’S purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 16:3, 19:21 Now the next time, you head out before checking with Me, STOP! Come to Me and I will send you out Then and only then you will succeed, every time.
Now, let’s pray this through ...
“In You, LORD my God, I put my trust...Show me Your ways, LORD, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.”
Psalm 25:1,4-5
