Please, Please, Please -don’t be afraid!
“For the battle is not yours, but God’s...So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand...Don’t be afraid, just believe… “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self- control...Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
2 Chronicles 20:15; Isaiah 41:10; Mark 5:36; 2 Timothy 1:7; Joshua 1:9
and I mean it! Forever yours, Abba
I can just hear our God saying to me…
Fear is a tool the enemy uses to entice you away from Me. Fear is a lie and the product of unbelief. You cannot be victorious while fear rules any part of your life. Fear clouds your senses and dims the light of My truth. Fear is nothing more than false expectations appearing real. It is like a lion with no teeth. It looks ominous and causes you to stop progressing down your path of blessing. Fear brings no joy and no peace. And once it stops you, it isn’t finished with you. It moves you backwards and side to side causing a rippling effect that removes future possibilities and opportunities in your future. Possibilities and opportunities forever lost. It is way past time for you to live a fearless life.
Your turn ... What is stopping you? What are you afraid of? What has fear restored or conquered for you? Take whatever time you need to self examine. Let My Spirit help you identify and inventory these dark recesses in your mind - in your soul. Let Us help you rid them. Meditate or journal or exercise as you line them up and call them out. Now give them to Me and don’t ever take them back, but when you do and you will because bad habits are hard to break - Stop and Return to Me!
Now rest some moments and pray ...
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to You, my God; I will present my thank offerings to You. For You have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
Psalm 56:3-4,10-13
