OUR STORY

Abundant Life INC (in Christ) has been in the making for more than four decades. My name is Deborah and I have been reading my Bible through every year since I was eight years old. When I was 22, my question for God was, “Who do You say I am as a follower of Jesus?” I was finishing up my studies at college and beginning to get lost in what the world - the culture said I was and should be. As I read and began to document more than 700 Holy Scriptures, I learned that the world lies. When I finished and transcribed all of God’s truths, my life changed. My walk with Jesus was reignited because I chose to believe everything those scriptures told me. What’s more I knew I was being called to share my new found truths that had been on my nightstand all along. I just had not focused on finding them until 1976.

In the years that followed, I shared these truths in various ways...personal testimony, speaking opportunities and printing up pamphlets in english and spanish which I gave out at various events and functions. In the fall of 2019, my husband and I went to see “Overcomer” at the theater which served to be the catalyst for developing the Abundant Life INC Bible Bootcamp. I shared what I believed the Holy Spirit was calling me to do with whom He was calling me to do it with … my husband, Andy, and dear friends in Christ, Sherri and Don. The Abundant Life INC core team was formed.

Each having a wide variety of gifts, we began collaborating and praying together for guidance. We joined with His Crossroads Ministries as a subsidiary. We shared our vision with brothers and sisters the Holy Spirit placed in our path and began fundraising. Then the pandemic hit. Although, the pandemic stalled the kickoff, it provided us the time we needed to fine tune and observe even further how needed these truths are. We saw our community - our country - our world crippled by fear. Our Father in Heaven did not create us to fear but instead to know the power, love and self control He has instilled in each one of us (from 2 Timothy 1:7) and to remember what Jesus says in John 10:10, “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 became our focal Scripture - our Mission - sharing the abundant life our Savior so desires for each of us.

What began in 1976, took another step in August, 2021, when we piloted the first Bible Bootcamp and were challenged to take the program international by partnering with Christ for the City International. We continue to grow and learn and serve. We pray to share these truths with any and all who desire to live the abundant life our Lord and Savior promises. Jesus Christ is our Founder and we are His servants. We are humbled that we would be called by the King of the Universe. We are privileged and honored to serve His people. We will not be finished until all have heard His Truth. We pray you join us in the Abundant Life through Jesus Christ.
